Today i have been testing the Faster Opt In Plugin which is a free plugin that allows you to build your list with an attractive pop up (as you may have seen on the home page of this site).
The only prerequisite is that you have an active Aweber (or other email marketing solution) account.
The actual plugin has a number of configuration options:
Auto popup —
If you want to pop-up the opt-in form automatically, just leave this option to ‘Yes’. You may select ‘No’ when you want to work with widgets only.
Delay before show–
If you are using ‘Auto popup’, then this parameter will delay a little bit before it pop-up! It is in second unit.
Show as modal–
If you select ‘Yes’, it means your visitor will unable to click anywhere out of your opt-in form until they click at the ‘Close’ button. If you select ‘No’, visitor can click at the out of opt-in form area and the opt-in form will automatically closed without clicking at the ‘Close’ button.
Show opt-in form at–
This parameter allow you to select which page(s) you want to pop-up the opt-in form. If you are using the “Specific pages only”, then you have to enter full url into the textbox. Please using a comma (,) to separate multiple url.
Show period (my personal favourite feature)-
You can select when the opt-in form will pop-up. The pop-up period will be kept at your visitor’s cookie. Your visitor will never see the pop-up again until the time period is end.
